me: You guys have to get out now, you are messing up my room!

(boys run out)

a moment later Rogan returns and stands in my doorway, chin quivering.

Rogan: But Mom, I thought you missed me!

me: What?

Roan: (trying to hold back tears) I thought you missed me!

Oh boy..... he's got my number.
