Tad is 1!

*warning: long post

On August 7th, our little Tad turned 1 year old! My brother PJ's birthday is on Aug. 1st, so we had a joint party for them. My parents were here and brought a piñata, candy, bags, plates, etc. with Winnie the Pooh on them. (Even though Tad doen't have a clue who Pooh is, he won't hold still long enough to watch any TV, the other kids thought it was so cool!) We had a blast and were so glad that so many of our family members came to celebrate with us.

The video isn't very good, but you can kind of see how he grins when he realizes that everyone was singing to HIM! It made me realize that he doesn't often get that much attention from so many people and he ate it up! He about gave me a heart attack when he tried to grab the lit candle at the end! (Please forgive the off-key singing.)

There was a fun little kiddie pool filled with toys and Rogan played in it fully clothed. He had a blast!

Ross and Rogan loved the piñata. They looked at us like, "really? we get to hit it with a bat?!"

Tad was SO excited to open his presents. Ross and Rogan were very excited to help him open his presents too.

Tad is always a very happy boy, but tonight he seemed to understand that it was HIS night and he was all grins. He understood that those presents were his too, and he would get mad if R&R tried to take away a toy he wanted. Smart kid.
